    • Development of UTB-MA measure using existing scale items and my own experiences. 

    • Ethical approval from UoB and NHS

    • Pilot testing and scale refinement 

    • Scale validation 

    • Test-Retest reliability after 1-3 months

    • Identify significant associations between scale items and Malignant Alienation - ready for analysis and potentially further scale development 

    • Data analyses

    • Conduct semi-structured interviews and finalise analyses depending on associations found in pilot

    • Dissemination of findings through thesis, Viva, conferences
